New advances in H∞ control and filtering for nonlinear systems
The main objective of this special issue is to
summarise recent advances in H∞ control and filtering
for nonlinear systems, including time-delay, hybrid and
stochastic systems. The published papers provide new
ideas and approaches, clearly indicating the advances
made in problem statements, methodologies or applications
with respect to the existing results. The special
issue also includes papers focusing on advanced and
non-traditional methods and presenting considerable
novelties in theoretical background or experimental
setup. Some papers present applications to newly
emerging fields, such as network-based control and
estimation
Robust tracking design for uncertain MIMO systems using proportional–integral controller of order v
AbstractThis paper provides a systematic method to design robust tracking controllers of reference signals with bounded derivatives of order ν for uncertain multi‐input multi‐output (MIMO) systems with bounded parametric uncertainties, in particular, of rational multi‐affine type, and/or in presence of disturbances with bounded derivatives of order ν. The proposed controllers have state‐feedback structures combined with proportional–integral regulators of order ν (PIν). Theoretical tools and systematic methodologies are provided to effectively design robust controllers for the considered systems, also in case of additional bounded nonlinearities and/or not directly measurable states. Applicability and efficiency of the proposed methods are validated through three examples: the first one is theoretical and useful to validate the proposed methodology, the second case study presents a metal‐cutting problem for an industrial robot, and the third example deals with a composite robot, such as a milling machine

The second part of monograph presents main aspects of the creating by the author information-wave theory of structures and systems interaction. If in the first part it is stated the general statement of the interaction problem, in this work the characteristics of separate structures and systems are analyzed, as well as their classification is realized. In monograph it is described a vortex-wave and structure resonance phenomena, discovered by the author and his employees at the investigation of interaction of waves, vortexes and structures of different nature.В монографии излагаются основные аспекты создаваемой автором информационно-волновой теории взаимодействия структур и систем. Если в первой части изложена общая постановка задачи взаимодействия, то в настоящей работе анализируются свойства отдельных структур и систем, а также осуществлена их классификация. Описано явление вихре-волнового и структурного резонанса, открытого автором и его сотрудниками при исследовании взаимодействия волн, вихрей и структур различной природы
